Case resolved

The company Families Worldwide is an online travel agency which plans lovely holidays all over the world. Over the summer they ran a competition on their Facebook page called Snap Happy. Entrants had to submit their best family photos in one of two categories, Best Family Moment and Best Selfie. The photograph judged the best overall would win a holiday to Mexico. The closing date was 30th September and our reader Mrs H made all the usual enquiries about a winner, but was largely ignored. As the entries had been displayed on their Facebook page, Mrs H knew that they had only had ten entries. However, by the time I came to look at it, all entries and the terms and conditions had been removed. Again, my recorded delivery letter was ignored, so I waited until late one evening to call, in the hope of getting to speak to someone in charge - or the cleaner! I fell lucky and spoke to a supervisor. They told me that judging is very fair and diplomatic, all photos are passed around every member of staff to be individually scored before the winner was declared. How many staff do they have which means this project takes 50 days?! Anyway, I was delighted when Mrs H was declared the overall winner of the Mexico holiday.
