Something For The Weekend - Win a Kitchen Makeover with Princes Tuna

Hello compers!  How was your week, any nice wins to report?  Nothing new to report here unfortunately – going through a real dry spell at the moment, but can’t be helped this time of year I don’t think.  I am still trying very hard to enter all the holiday and short breaks comps I can see, as well as any for cash, vouchers or fitness tracker comps.  I have been trying to steer clear of the high volume social media and blog comps a bit, but may have to divert back to them if my wins don’t pick up hehe.  How about you, how are you doing with your comping so far this year?  What’s on your Wish List and are you managing to find enough comps to enter to try and win them?

Health & fitness kick still going strong here – lots of porridge, homemade soups and, nutritious meals at our house!   Also enjoying being back on the exercise wagon too – a bit of running and some at-home DVD workouts do the power of good when the weather is cold and grey and your energy levels start to dip.  Trying to cook more of a variety of meals too, and in particular including more fish.  Both my girls like fish, but my eldest prefers more of the white flaky cod-type fish, and hasn’t really found an oily fish she likes yet.  Am going to try and do a tuna pasta bake this weekend I think, to ease her into the idea of oily fish.  When I shop for the ingredients I will be picking up some promotional cans of Princes Tuna, as they are running a fantastic competition at the moment too.  If you purchase a promotional can of the tuna and enter the code online at http://www.winwithprinces.co.uk/tuna/ you stand the chance of instantly winning a whole kitchen makeover!  Imagine it: you could be rustling up healthy, hearty meals for the family in a brand new kitchen courtesy of Princes!  There are also runners up prizes to be won including 20 x £500 of kitchen equipment, 100 cookware sets and 50 tableware sets - the prizes will be awarded in the form of John Lewis Vouchers.  To claim a prize you need to send the dated receipt from your purchase, as well as the promotional label, and all prizes will be sent out within 28 days of the company receiving your receipt and promotional pack.  The promotion runs until midnight on 30th August 2015, so why not pick u a few tins this weekend, and try your luck at winning a fantastic prize!.

If you would like to win some more goodies for your kitchen, here are some other fab comps for you to try your hand at this weekend:

  • Has your kettle seen better days, mine has!  Living on the Island the water here is very hard and we seem to go through kettles like nobody’s business!  I would love to win the Breville traditional kettle in cream from House of Fraser being given away by the Tidy Away Today blog.  This elegant appliance would like equally beautiful in a modern, sleek kitchen as a rustic, traditional farmhouse one.  To enter you need to interact with the Rafflecopter widget, and there is a daily entry option available too.  Entries close on 31st January 2015, so get clicking!

Happy comping and lots of Lucky Dust to you all!

The trouble is my daughter says that Princes tuna is not line caught so lots of other sea life caught in their nets perishes.
You may think this is a bit extreme but I didn't buy any and won't enter even though our kitchen is 1922ish. I may be able to prove her wrong but I doubt it.

Thanks for the comment Sylvia. I am afraid I don't know much about the subject, but this info from this website may be useful for your daughter? Kirsty xx http://www.princes.co.uk/about-princes/sustainability/
